This is a hunting clock. All over the clock you will find elements of the hunt. Centrally on top of the roof is the deer head, framed by two rifles adorning the roof of the clock. To the right and left of the dial are the hunted animals, in this case a hare and a pheasant. Framing the dial is a hunting horn, with its horn right under the dial and just above the powder pouch.
