This is a beautiful little cottage clock. The design of this clock depends on the vivid contrast between the small high-quality cottage and the beautifully painted flowers. Both the edelweiss and gentian flowers and the deer group and made of wood and are hand-painted. The little chalet is completely covered with shingles, both roof and sides of the clock (this is typical of Black Forest houses, they often have wooden shingles on outside walls, to protect from the harsh winter climate).
