This is the reason for the production time given. The complete carving is extremely detailed and intricate. Every animal is completely three-dimensional and thus as life-like as possible. The carving itself shows a large eagle dominating the clock. The clock itself if framed by tall fir trees (the predominant tree species in the Black Forest), while the lower part of the clock is designed after the undergrowth of a forest. Here, a fox family resides. A mother and her two cubs play around their den.Wooden dial, hand-carved hands, cuckoo, pendulum. The clock has a music and dancer function. Alternating at the full and half hour, the clock plays Edelweiss and Happy Wanderer.
